Albert Bowe Pomeroy, Jr. of Warrington passed away on Wednesday June 14, 2023 at Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Al was 81 years old. Al was the husband of Margaret (Rissling), together the couple had shared 55 years of marriage.
Born in Philadelphia and was the son of the late Albert Bowe and Betty (MacDowell) Pomeroy, Sr.
Al was a graduate of Temple University and Penn State University. He was also a part time instructor at the University of Phoenix.
Al had served his Country in the US Army and was a life member of the Veteran Guard 3rd Regiment Infantry.
Al had been retired for 15 years and enjoyed spending time in Ocean City, New Jersey and with his Granddaughters.
In addition to his wife Margaret, Al is survived by his daughter Karen Reavy (Robert), and his grandchildren Hannah and Erin Reavy. Al was the brother of Thomas (Darla) and the late David Pomeroy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Al’s Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday June 20, 2023 at Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Road, Warrington, PA 18976. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be held on Tuesday June 27, 2023 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
